How to pay a Chinese tea supplier from your country — and how the tea reaches you
Most Chinese tea suppliers accept one thing: a wire to a Chinese bank account. If your country cannot send that wire, the conversation ends. Ours does not. We hold accounts in several jurisdictions and settle by bank transfer, by card including JCB, through the local payment systems of your own country, or in cryptocurrency under our licensed Hong Kong entity. Shipping channels we actually use
Samples and small parcels
China Post drop-shipment and e-Packet for anything up to 2 kg. This is how sample sets travel: cheap enough that testing our tea is not a purchase decision in itself.
Volume orders
Air freight when the season matters, sea freight when the price does. We hold a dedicated Cainiao channel and work through Alibaba logistics, which is what keeps the consolidated shipments predictable.
Countries standard couriers skip
Russia, Kazakhstan, much of Africa and South America — destinations where DHL or FedEx either refuse or arrive whenever they arrive. We run cargo lines there. It is slower than a courier and it works, which is the part that matters when the alternative is nothing.
Questions buyers actually ask
My country cannot send money to China. Can I still buy from you?
In most cases yes, and this is the single most common reason buyers reach us. Because we hold accounts in several jurisdictions, the payment does not have to end up in China to reach us. Write to us with your country and we reply with the route that works.
Do you accept cryptocurrency?
Yes, for goods, under our licensed Hong Kong entity, and from any country. This is an official settlement channel with an invoice against it, not an informal arrangement.
What currency do you quote in?
Chinese yuan (CNY), which is the standard for Chinese export. Our price list shows three levels: wholesale from 50 kg, wholesale from 10 kg, and Chinese retail for reference.
What is the minimum order?
Consolidated orders from 100 kg. Private label packaging starts at a single piece, so you can hold your own design in your hand before committing to a run. Named teas from 1 to 5 kg per SKU.
Which incoterms?
EXW, FOB and CIF.
What we do not do
- No DDP into the EU or the United States. Customs clearance there is yours. We would rather say it here than have you discover it at the border.
- No organic certification. Instead we provide per-lot laboratory testing on request, which tells you about the tea in your order rather than about a certificate.
- No guessing at your route. Payment and shipping depend on your specific country and order, so the table above is the shape of the answer and the reply to your enquiry is the answer.
